Starr Cabin is the perfect balance between Pacific Northwest Mountain getaway and comfortable living. It features an open concept kitchen, dining room, and living room. There is a fully covered back deck big enough for family meals or relaxing with a beverage after a long hike.

There are 3 bedrooms. A primary bedroom with a king bed, TV, and a private bathroom. There are 2 other bedrooms with queen beds.

There is also a laundry room/utility room that guests can use. This room is great for ski storage, boot drying, or keeping dirty hiking gear.

The Elkhorn loop is a gated and quiet neighborhood. Keep an eye out for the herd of elk that will wander through the loop. It is safe to have kids ride their bikes or scooters. You can walk to the Cowlitz River or walk to the restaurants and shops in town.

FAQs

How many does the cabin sleep?

The cabin has 1 king bedroom and 2 queen bedrooms. It can comfortably sleep 6 in the beds. One person can fit on the couch.


Is extra parking available?

Yes. There is room for 3+ cars to safely park in the driveway.


Can we build a fire?

There is an outside firepit. Fires must only be built within the fire ring. The wood shed is stocked for guests to enjoy having a fire. Please be aware the current burn ban regulations. Wildfires is a risk in the area and recreation fires are sometimes prohibited in the summer.


Are pets welcome?

At this time pets are considered on a case by case basis.
